At Recruit 2 You we are pleased to announce our newest vacancy based in Alfreton, Derbyshire.
Our client who supplies equipment to the mining, steel, and quarrying industries are looking for an Electrical Switchgear Estimator to join their team.
Your responsibilities as the new Electrical Switchgear Estimator:
* Producing detailed quotations ensuring all products are within the company’s catalogue, to specification and following the BS EN guidelines.
* Quote Management pre order and for the Estimating component within our client’s QMS, including development, compliance, and auditing, in accordance with the ISO9001 standard and end to end process.
* Ensuring that technical documents and records are generated for all quotations in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System. Ensuring compliance and providing certification to BS EN 61439.
* Liaising with customer’s pre-order, including resolving commercial or technical conflicts.
* Provision of contractual, financial, and technical assistance as necessary to the Sales Team/Engineering Team, including Technical Submissions and pricing information for quotation purposes and variations to ongoing Projects.
* Produce accurate and timely quotations to the client.
* Responsible for quotes at the ‘higher end’ of complexity and difficulty.
Your skills as the new Electrical Switchgear Estimator:
* Good product knowledge of Switchboards including control circuitry and ancillary items such as Auto Changer Over Systems and Power factor Correction.
* Familiar with electrical infrastructure, electrical principles, electrical drawings, and schematics.
* Proven written and verbal communication skills.
* High level knowledge of BS EN 61439
Job Requirements:
* DBS Check Preferable
* GDPR experience desired.
* Switchgear Experience preferrable.
About the role:
* Monday – Friday (Fulltime, Permanent)
* £25,000 - £35,000 DOE (Salary review every April)
* 23 days annual leave (In addition to statutory holidays)
* Bonus Scheme
