Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team for an $11 million new build project. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Project Manager and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful design, implementation, and completion of the electrical systems. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Design and Planning
* Develop and review electrical design plans, specifications, and drawings for the school project.
* Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
* Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for electrical systems.
Project Coordination
* Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical designs seamlessly.
* Assist the Project Manager in creating and updating project schedules and budgets.
* Attend project meetings and provide technical insights and recommendations.
Implementation and Supervision
* Oversee the installation of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, and communication networks.
* Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
Quality Assurance
* Perform quality control checks on electrical installations.
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with project requirements.
* Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and as-built drawings.
Testing and Commissioning
* Plan and execute testing procedures for electrical systems.
* Ensure all systems are fully operational and meet performance criteria.
* Provide technical support during the commissioning phase and handover to the client.
Requirements:
