Are you looking to kickstart your career in teaching, full training and development, including support to achieve teaching and assessing qualifications, to become a fully fledged Trainer / Assessor where you will support apprenticeship programmes, benefit from generous holiday entitlement, and have the opportunity to progress within an established and highly regarded college?

This leading technical education and training provider delivering a wide range of vocational and apprenticeship programmes across engineering and advanced technical disciplines. The organisation works in partnership with major employers to develop industry-ready skills, supported by modern workshops, specialist facilities, and courses ranging from entry level through to degree-level study.

In this role, you will deliver Electrical Engineering training and assessment to apprentices, carrying out progress reviews with learners and employers and assessing competency against apprenticeship standards. You will provide coaching and feedback, develop training materials, and support learners through to completion of their programmes while working towards teaching and assessing qualifications.

This role would suit an Electrical Engineer with a Level 3 or above qualification looking to move into training and assessment, seeking full support to gain teaching and assessing qualifications and progress into a Trainer / Assessor role within a leading technical education provider.

The Role:

Deliver Electrical Engineering training and assessment to apprentices
Carry out progress reviews with learners and employers
Assess competency against apprenticeship standards and record evidence
Provide coaching, feedback, and learner support
Develop and update training materials and lesson plans
Work towards teaching and assessing qualifications with full training providedThe Person:

Electrical Engineering qualification (Level 3 or above)
Industry experience in electrical engineering or a related field
Interest in training, coaching, or developing others
