We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider supporting a critical healthcare contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly regulated environment, maintaining critical electrical infrastructure that supports the safe and efficient operation of essential services.
Working closely with the Estates team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring all electrical systems are maintained to the highest standards, minimising downtime and supporting a safe, compliant environment.
⚡ What you'll be doing:
???? Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the site
⚙️ Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs safely and efficiently
????️ Ensuring electrical installations comply with current regulations and industry standards
???? Supporting statutory inspections, testing and certification requirements
???? Responding to emergency breakdowns and prioritising critical systems
???? Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the CAFM system
???? Liaising with contractors and internal teams to support the delivery of engineering works
???? Following all Health & Safety procedures while working within a live critical environment
????♂️ What we're looking for:
???? NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering
???? 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
???? Experience in Facilities Management, Building Services, Healthcare or a similar maintenance environment
???? Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
???? Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
???? Good understanding of statutory compliance and safe working practices
???? Strong communication and customer service skills
⭐ Desirable:
✅ Previous experience working within a healthcare or critical environment
✅ Experience working on critical building services infrastructure
✅ Experience using CAFM or maintenance management systems
