We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer ⚡ to join a leading Facilities Management company supporting a major manufacturing site in Long Sutton. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced FMCG production environment ????, ensuring critical electrical systems and plant equipment are maintained to the highest standards.

Working as part of a multi-skilled engineering team ????‍♂️????‍♀️, you will play a key role in maximising plant uptime, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous production operations.

???? What you'll be doing:

✔️ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems and building services equipment ⚡????

✔️ Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults to minimise disruption to production ????️

✔️ Performing electrical testing, inspection, repairs, and fault finding activities ????

✔️ Responding quickly to breakdowns and implementing effective corrective actions ????

✔️ Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and plant performance ????

✔️ Working closely with the wider engineering team to maximise equipment availability ????‍♂️????????‍♀️

✔️ Maintaining safe systems of work and ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety procedures ????

✔️ Keeping accurate maintenance records and completing documentation as required ????

✔️ Liaising effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure service excellence ????

✔️ Supporting the smooth operation of a busy manufacturing facility ????

???? What we're looking for:

⭐ Essential:

⚡ Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer within Facilities Management, manufacturing, industrial, or production environments

⚡ Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills ????

⚡ Good understanding of electrical systems, controls, and maintenance practices

⚡ Experience delivering both planned and reactive maintenance activities ????

⚡ Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-skilled engineering team ????

⚡ Strong commitment to Health & Safety and statutory compliance ????

⚡ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills ????

⭐ Desirable:

???? Experience within FMCG, food production, or manufacturing environments

???? Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives

???? Multi-skilled maintenance experience

???? City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent electrical qualifications
