A well-established Building Services Consultancy is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing team in Antrim.

Your new role
Working as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the delivery of electrical building services designs from concept through to completion. You'll gain exposure to all stages of project delivery while collaborating closely with engineers across multiple offices.

Key responsibilities include:

Producing detailed electrical design packages for a range of projects
Undertaking electrical calculations, specifications and technical reports
Carrying out site surveys and inspections
Preparing tender documentation and reviewing contractor submissions
Attending client, design team and site meetings
Liaising with utility providers and external stakeholders
Supporting the successful delivery of projects to programme and budget
Mentoring and assisting junior engineers where required
Working closely with mechanical and electrical colleagues to deliver coordinated designsWhat you'll need to succeed

Experience within a building services consultancy or contractor design environment
Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
Experience using industry-standard design software
Knowledge of Revit/BIM (desirable)
Strong communication and client-facing skills
A proactive approach and ability to manage workload effectively
Progress towards Chartered status or aspirations to achieve thisWhat you'll get in return
