We're looking for an experienced Electrician to join the team at a prestigious site in Glasgow.
???? This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician to work within a busy environment, carrying out essential electrical maintenance and ensuring the site remains safe, compliant and fully operational.
⚡ What You'll Be Doing:
???? Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.
???? Testing, maintaining and repairing lighting and electrical systems.
???? Carrying out emergency lighting testing and associated remedial works.
⚙️ Diagnosing electrical faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently.
???? Ensuring electrical systems are maintained in line with relevant regulations and standards.
???? Following all Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work.
???? Working closely with the wider Estates and Facilities team.
???? Completing maintenance records and reporting any defects or issues identified.
????♂️ What We're Looking For:
???? Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications.
⚡ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
???? Proven experience carrying out emergency lighting testing is essential.
???? Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
???? Experience within Facilities Management, Building Services, Education or a similar environment.
???? Good understanding of electrical compliance and safe working practices.
???? Strong communication and customer service skills.
