Electrical Engineer – Foot Mobile
Location: Enfield & Central London
Salary: £45,000

The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a growing engineering team in a foot mobile role.
This position is ideal for an engineer who lives in Enfield or the surrounding area, as you'll spend 2–3 days per week based at a busy shopping centre in Enfield, with the remaining days covering a portfolio of commercial properties across Central London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a varied role, combining the consistency of a primary site with exposure to multiple prestigious commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
* Diagnose and repair faults on lighting, power, emergency lighting, and electrical distribution systems
* Support the maintenance of mechanical and building services equipment where required
* Carry out routine plant room inspections and ensure equipment is operating efficiently
* Complete maintenance reports and update CAFM systems accurately
* Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, and contractors
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety regulations
* Identify opportunities for remedial works and plant improvements
About You
* Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
* Experience working within commercial building maintenance
* Strong fault-finding and electrical maintenance skills
* Good understanding of building services and plant room environments
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Self-motivated and able to work independently across multiple sites
* Ideally based in or around Enfield
