Hours;

Week 1 - 6-2pm

Week 2 - 2-10pm

Week 3 - 10pm-6am

Salary - DOE

The Company: The opportunity for a Mechanical / Electrical engineer to join a leading packaging manufacturer who create innovative, high-quality, cost-effective corrugated cardboard packaging.

The role:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults on automated packaging equipment.
Install, commission, and test electrical systems and machinery.
Support continuous improvement projects to increase equipment reliability and production efficiency.
Maintain and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and industrial automation equipment.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
Maintain accurate maintenance records using the company's maintenance management system.
Work collaboratively with production teams to minimise downtime and improve plant performance.
Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and new installations.Electrical Engineer Skills required:

Recognised electrical engineering qualification (Level 3 or above, HNC/HND or equivalent).
Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
Ideally have experience of the following machines; a Corrugator, LMC P1230, Weipong, Martin 924, M924, Emba 245, Emba 170, LMC 2 colour, LMC 5 Colour
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery and industrial automation.
Experience with electrical maintenance, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels.
Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
