Electrical Engineer | Aberdeen | Permanent
We are working with a leading engineering organisation seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development and lifecycle management of innovative products and systems within highly a regulated industry.
Job Description:
* Deliver electrical and electronic design solutions for new and existing products
* Produce technical documentation including specifications, test procedures and reports
* Carry out engineering calculations and support product improvements
* Review electrical drawings and ensure compliance with industry standards
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement and production
* Support projects from concept through to field deployment and ongoing support
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
* Proven electrical and electronic design experience
* Strong engineering calculation and problem-solving skills
* Experience with CAD/design software and engineering standards
Desirable:
* Product design experience, particularly DC systems
* PLM system experience
* Marine, defence, offshore or other regulated industry experience
* Familiarity with LR and DNV standards
