Your New Job

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding to equipment breakdowns across the production facility. You will utilise your electrical expertise to diagnose faults, implement repairs, and minimise downtime while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Key responsibilities include

Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities on production machinery and electrical systems.Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on manufacturing equipment.
Carrying out remedial actions and breakdown repairs to minimise production downtime.
Designing, developing, and maintaining electrical panels, wiring systems, and associated equipment.
Completing electrical testing and inspections to ensure compliance and operational reliability.
Supporting continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
Liaising with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting equipment issues.
Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health, safety, and industry regulations.

Your Experience and Requirements

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer who has experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Recognised Electrical Engineering qualifications.
Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or FMCG environment.
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience in carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.
Knowledge of electrical panels, wiring systems, motors, and industrial machinery.
A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
