Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Principal Electrical Engineer on an Offshore Project for an initial 12 month contract role, working on behalf of our client on various energy transition projects for FEED and EPC work.
Previous recent and relevant experience (10 yrs+) within the offshore oil & gas industry is essential for this role.
The role:
The work will include development of SLDs / load lists, sizing HV equipment, UPS systems, development of philosophies, specifications and datasheets.
They will be working as part of a team supporting the lead engineer.
Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience of designing electrical systems for various energy transition projects for FEED and EPC work.
* Designs for offshore electrical distribution power systems, power from shore and brownfield modifications
* Knowledge should include Norwegian Standards and Equinor Standards

Start date: ASAP
Contract duration: c.12 months
Rate: £62 p/h (Ltd Co rate)
Working hours: Average 40 hrs per week. 2 days per week remote working is possible.
Location: Surrey
