Sphere Solutions are working with a well-established and growing electrical contractor to recruit an experienced Electrician / Electrical Engineer to join their team.

The business works across a range of commercial and domestic projects, with an increasing focus on renewable technologies. They are therefore open to electricians from either a commercial electrical background or those who already have experience in solar, battery storage, EV charging or other renewable technologies.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing business, work on a varied range of projects across the South West and, for those from a traditional electrical background, develop your experience within the renewables sector.

The Role

Depending on your experience, projects may include:

* Commercial and domestic electrical installations

* Commercial solar PV & EV charging

* Battery storage and BESS

* HVAC and associated electrical works

* New build and refurbishment projects

* Installation, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment

* Working professionally on-site and providing excellent customer service

About You

* 4 years experience within the commercial sector

* ECS Gold card

* BS7671 Wiring regulations

* Solar & EV experience in either domestic or commercial (Preferable, not essential)

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).

* Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

This is a full time permanent role, with an office based in Plymouth but you will be expected to work away on larger jobs and an uplift will be paid when working away.

The client is keen to hear from qualified electricians with solid commercial experience, as well as those already working within the renewables sector.

On offer:

* Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience

* Company Van – not for personal use

* Fuel Card

* Overtime rates available

* Travel & food allowance when you work away

* Extra annual leave at Christmas

* Ongoing training and support
