Salary: £48,000 – £52,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
On Call: None

The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer to take responsibility for a single-man static site in Shoreditch.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer with good mechanical knowledge who is looking for a permanent Monday-to-Friday position with no on-call requirement.
As the sole engineer on site, you will take ownership of the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the building, working closely with the on-site community team. You will also have support from management and mobile engineers who regularly attend the site.
Key Responsibilities

Planned and reactive building services maintenance

Servicing and maintaining LG VRF systems
*
Maintenance of booster sets, calorifiers and point-of-use water heaters
*
Emergency lighting testing
*
Minor electrical repairs and maintenance
*
Lighting and light fitting repairs/replacement
*
Desktop power and fuse issues
*
Floor socket repairs and fault finding
*
General electrical fault finding
*
Supporting mechanical plant and equipment
*
Identifying faults and coordinating specialist contractors where required
*
Taking ownership of site maintenance issues through to completion
*
Liaising professionally with the on-site community team
*
Maintaining relevant site and maintenance records
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Building ServicesEngineer who is comfortable managing a site independently.
You should have:
Strong electrical building services maintenance experience
Good working knowledge of mechanical building services
Experience with VRF/VRV systems, ideally LG VRF
Experience maintaining associated mechanical plant
Good electrical fault-finding ability
Experience with emergency lighting testing
Ability to complete minor electrical works
A proactive and self-motivated approach
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Confidence taking ownership of a single-engineer site
This would suit an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer looking for a stable static position where they can take ownership of their own building, while still having support from a wider engineering and management team
