Electrical Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000+ per annum, depending on experience
Are you an Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? Join our dynamic team at a leading M&E contractor in London. We specialise in high-quality electrical installations and are looking for a talented individual to contribute to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to develop and implement project plans
Conduct site inspections to ensure installations meet design specifications and safety standards
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
Assist in the planning and execution of electrical installations from start to finish
Prepare method statements and risk assessments (with the construction team) for production activities
Prepare reports and front-end studies including capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take-off, and tender schedules
Prepare technical and contract documentation for issue and analyse returned tenders
Keep the delivery schedule up to date to control deliveries
Clarify queries with the Design team through the request for information (RFI) system
Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports
Produce look-ahead programs to assist production
Carry out Quality Control through inspections and snagging
Handle document control, recording, and transmitting information
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practicesRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable
Proven experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
Knowledge of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sitesBenefits:
