Electrical Engineer (Sewage Treatment Works) - 12-month+ CONTRACT - Twickenham
VGC Energy, part of the VGC Group Ltd are pleased to be recruiting for an Electrical Engineer with Sewage Treatment Works experience in the Twickenham area, Greater London.
This role is site based and is initially for 12 months, with the possibility of extension following review.
Full Time 45 hours per week
Up to £350 per day (inside IR35)
Electrical Engineer (Sewage Treatment Works) - Responsibilities
* Provide electrical engineering expertise for industrial projects with particular emphasis on the water recycling industry
* Establish client requirements and delivering the operation of engineering design solutions
* Providing support to sub-contractors with the electrical discipline as well as ensuring company standard in H&S are being met by the supply chain
Electrical Engineer (Sewage Treatment Works) - Requirements
* Previous experience within the Sewage Treatment sector – Water Process Works experience
* NVQ Level 3 Fully Qualified Electrician
* A good knowledge of motor control centres including variable speed 690v and 420v
* Good knowledge of control and instrumentation cable installation
* Ability to read electrical designs and ensure installations meet approved designs
* ECS (JIB) Gold Card holder
* Experience in supervising electrical installation on capital projects with a minimum 4-day qualification in safety such as IOSH, SSSTS or SMSTS
* CSCS and / or CPCS card
* DSEAR Training would be advantageous
