Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week

Call-Out: 1 in 7 currently

Electrical Engineer The Opportunity

Are you an Electrical Engineer looking for a varied, hands-on role where no two sites are the same?

We’re looking for a Multiskilled Electrical Engineer to work across customer sites, supporting the installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding of specialist wastewater treatment and pumping systems.

This is an ideal role for an electrically qualified engineer with good mechanical knowledge who enjoys problem-solving, working on-site and getting stuck into different engineering challenges.

Electrical Engineer The Role

* Electrical installation, commissioning and testing on customer sites.

* Electrical and mechanical fault finding and breakdown repairs.

* Working with pumps, blowers, mixers, control panels, MCCs, VSDs and instrumentation.

* Reading electrical drawings, schematics and P&IDs.

* Supporting installation and commissioning projects through to completion.

* Carrying out functional testing and system checks.

* Completing service reports, commissioning records and site documentation.

* Working safely in outdoor, wastewater and confined-space environments.

* Providing support as part of the 1-in-7 call-out rota.

Electrical Engineer What We're Looking For

* Recognised electrical qualification.

* ECS Gold Card, 18th Edition and AM2.

* Strong industrial electrical experience, including motor control and instrumentation.

* Experience with pumps, process equipment or similar industrial systems.

* Good understanding of PLCs, VSDs and control panels.

* Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

* Good mechanical understanding and a practical, hands-on approach.

* Full UK driving licence.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a small engineering team.
