Salary / benefits: c£45-58k+, plus benefits

Job Outline:
A market leading designer and manufacturer of specialist scientific instrumentation is now looking for a Senior Electrical Designer to join their growing Engineering Team in Bristol.
As Senior Electrical Designer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing and implementing electrical systems and components.
The role will include all aspects of design work, along with the production of drawings, BOMs, and supporting documentation.
Your responsibilities will include delivery of accurate electrical designs, for systems and components, ensuring all work complies with company and market standards.
In addition you will provide information required for manuals and other documentation
As the successful candidate you will be proficient in the use of CAD software, ideally AutoCAD or Solid Edge along with Excel, Word and Outlook.

Experience:
As the successful Senior Electrical Designer, you should have experience in designing precision mechanical/electrical systems and mechanisms.
This experience coupled with a broad knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials and an eye for new ways of applying emerging technologies is sought.
You should have a technical background in an Engineering discipline, Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Software and sound knowledge of CAD software.
A knowledge of regulatory and standards compliance requirements is required.
Qualifications:
Ideally you should hold a relevant Engineering Degree, or equivalent.
Candidates who hold Chartered Engineer are preferred, although this is not essential.
