Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience in the Building Services industry, looking for a role where you will be supported into becoming a lead engineer within a variety of projects, working for one of the most reputable consultancies in the West Midlands?

As an Intermediate Design Engineer, you will be the go-to person for a range of high-profile projects serving prestigious blue-chip clients. Your responsibilities will include defining the scope and approach for electrical aspects, conducting site surveys, and actively participating in design team meetings. You'll play a part in maintaining effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle, while also engaging with clients and contractors, managing project deadlines, and playing a crucial role in mentoring junior engineers.

This role would suit a Electrical Design Engineer with experience in Building Services or similar, looking for training, clear scopes to progress to a Senior and a competitive package.

DUTIES

* Lead electrical design engineer for assigned projects, overseeing all aspects from conception to completion.
* Define mechanical scope and approach for projects, ensuring comprehensive planning and execution.
* Manage office-based design tasks, including delegating to junior engineers, conducting site surveys, and attending design team meetings for effective coordination with clients and contractors while ensuring project deadlines and deliverables are met.

PERSON

* Electrical Design background
* Building Services background or similar
* Must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis
