Due to continued growth, our highly respected and established Engineering client in Bridgend is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their innovative engineering team on a permanent basis.
This is a key hire for the company, where you will play a leading role in the design, development and testing of electrical control systems for their niche product range.

Key Responsibilities:
Write control specifications for new products or modifications to existing products.
Design electrical circuits required for the development and production of existing and new products.
Generate build documentation and parts lists
Draft detailed commissioning procedures.
Liaise with end users and relevant contractors to ensure the correct design, test, and installation of systems.
Participate in the investigation of problems arising from testing or operational use in the field.
Contribute to the evolving Design Standards.Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Qualified to HND or preferably degree level in Electrical and / or Electronic Engineering.
Strong electrical / controls / automation engineering background.
Experienced in the full product life cycle
Experience of safety standards (12100, 60204 and 13849).
Experience of electrical drawing packages (for example, ePLAN).
Practical experience of electrical builds and use of diagnostic tools.Salary & Benefits:
