Electrical Design Engineer

I am looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to work in the Anglian Water patch. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.

Role: Electrical Design Engineer

Contract: Freelance
Rate: £470 per day

Duties will include:

Produce the Scoping and Outline design for Water Projects- This project is currently moving into the outline stage
Contribute to the electrical management of projects and supporting the wider engineering team
Undertake site visits, coordinating the site team and the design teams and ensuring the operation is running smoothly
Reviewing final designs and managing change control for electrical scopes of works
Procurement and supply chain management with respect to electrical scope on the project
Ensuring compliance of electrical works with the applicable specifications and standards, and the application of safety and quality systems

Skills Required:

Having a strong background of working within the water industry
CITB (SMSTS), SSSTS, and/or CSCS qualified for managing safely
Valid Full UK Driving LIcence
Safe delivery of water projects to time, cost, and quality
Have undertaken site meetings and surveys
Be confident working in a team and adapting to more responsibility

Skills Desirable:

Ambitious and dynamic personality
MEICA/Civil works multi-disciplined interfacing
Experience of working on Water Industry construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries
Someone with a commitment to Right first time
