Location: Leicestershire
Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000p/a + benefits
Hours: 37.5 hrs p/wk (Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities:
Designing and developing electrical systems and components
Conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis
Collaborating with the design team to ensure project requirements are met
Creating and reviewing engineering drawings and specifications
Conducting technical evaluations and inspections
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients
Participating in project meetings and presenting progress reportsEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in electrical design engineering
Strong understanding of engineering drawings (electrical and mechanical)
Proficient in CAD software and other relevant design tools
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in design work
Knowledge of industry codes and regulationsDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Knowledge of, and experience of designing in accordance with IEC 60204 and IEC 61439.
CE marking process and DFMEA
Autodesk/AutoCAD Electrical is required
Professional certification in electrical engineeringTechnologies:
CAD software- Autodesk Inventor, Creo would be an advantage.
