Electrical Design Engineer – Havant – circa £40K-£50K
Are you an Electrical Design Engineer looking to join a growing company within a prestigious industry?
Do you want the chance to join a global company and work on a variety of interesting design projects?
We have a new vacancy for an Electrical Design Engineer for a growing and prestigious manufacturer of a variety of products for the marine industry. You will be a key member of the design team leading design projects developing a new range of products. This is an exciting role and will require new product development and designing of control panels for hydraulic systems. As Electrical Design Engineer you will have a background in product development and the ability to work on your own projects.
The job role and responsibilities:
As Electrical Design Engineer you will have the following duties within your role:
* Design and develop electrical products for the marine industry
* Continuously improve design processes
* Ensure products meet technical, safety and regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with vendors and suppliers
* Liaise with other departments such as broader engineering team whilst troubleshooting
* Keep up to date with current industry trends
The requirements:
To be suitable for the role of Electrical Design Engineer you will ideally have the following experience and skillset:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar related subject
* Ideally you will have 5 years’ experience in Electrical Design
* Experience in the marine industry would be ideal or a passion for the industry
* Knowledge of electrical design tools such as AutoCad Electrical, EPLAN or similar
