FINTEC recruit is recruiting for an international manufacturing/marine business and looking an Electrical Design Engineer to provide engineering design solutions. Based in Renfrewshire, Scotland. A varied role, working with new product design, involved in upgrades and changes to meet client requests. This is a permanent role, salary commensurate with experience plus benefits. Working Monday to Friday, early finish on Fridays!
Responsibilities:
Providing engineering design input and solutions
Meeting with clients in discussing upgrades/modifications to equipment
Liaison with other internal departments to provide best technical solutions for clients
Sourcing suitable components and materials
Create engineering documentation eg specifications/proposals, test procedures and reports etc
Check detailed electrical drawings in making sure adherence to engineering and company standards and processes
Skills and Experience required for the Electrical Design Engineer role
Degree qualified – Electrical and Electronics Engineering or have equivalent industry experience
Possess electrical and electronics design skills
Skilled in generating design calculations and knowledge of design standards
Competent with engineering design software tools
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management system for generating and storage of engineering packages.
