Job Role: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Nottingham – onsite role
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience

Earthstream are recruiting Electrical Design Engineers to join a leading automation company specialising in material handling systems.
Our client will consider junior to senior level design engineers.

The role
The Electrical Design role will involve working within the controls department team of hardware and software engineers, taking projects through the hardware design phases creating schematic drawings for control cabinets and field installations using EPLAN Pro Panel (EPLAN Electric P8 with 3D panel layouts).
The candidate will also be using AutoCAD LT.
Requirements:

* Electrical biased apprenticeship

* Experience using Eplan or AutoCAD

* Must be totally conversant with PLC control systems.

* Extensive knowledge of automation architectures and network layers.

* Extensive knowledge of PROFINET or EtherNET/IP networks for distributed systems.

* In-depth knowledge of inverters and control wiring, preferably SEW.

* Experience of designing a control system to a set budget
