Description:
We are now recruiting for an Experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join a forever growing, automated systems integration company with the intralogistics sector, where future progression is almost a guarantee for a person with drive and dedication to succeed in their career.
This will be an Hybrid role, where you will work within the Controls Design team to produce detail circuit diagrams, component layouts, BOM’s, calculations and PLC software as required for automated warehouse systems, along with
commissioning of control systems on client sites.
Key Responsibilities
Produce high quality electrical designs that meet project requirements and relevant technical standards.
Produce Eplan drawings suitable for use by the installation and service support teams.
Produce Bills of Materials and process documentation suitable for the procurement team to efficiently purchase parts required.
Produce technical documentation required to enable software to be written
Write PLC and HMI code to meet requirements of the system; test the code and install it and commission it at clients’ sites.
Write the FS for projects as required and co-ordinate with colleagues within Engineering and within Systems to ensure alignment of functionality and interfaces. Education and Skills
Formal Qualification in Electrical Engineering – Preferred Degree, acceptable HND/HNC with suitable
Skills in Siemens PLC software writing and testing
