Description:
Diamond Engineering Recruitment are currently working with a leading Tier 1 MEP contractor across the UK. After recently securing a large scale Commercial Fit-out project in Central London, this contractor is now seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join their team onsite.
Roles & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Attend Site Meetings and Internal Project & Engineering Reviews
* Assistance with the close out of all project items including Final Account and O & M Manuals
* Ensure materials are scheduled, liaising with the procurement team that all materials are onsite when required.
* Coordinate Site Management team with the Project Manager
* Record weekly safety stats & project labour projections.
* Manage internal labour and subcontractors onsite
* Ensure weekly progress reports are updated
* Liaise with the commercial team on a weekly basis to ensure all variations are captured.
* Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed on a daily basis.
* Interpret construction drawing and ensure schedules are produced.
* Review and implement method statements and risk assessments.
* Carry out weekly toolbox talks
* Review the site programme and raise any issues with the project manager
* Liaise with the client/Main contractor on daily basis.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years’ experience within an onsite management position and have a portfolio of delivering projects from £5m-£25m MEP. preferably commercial offices.
Salary is paying £70,00 - £75,000 per annum + Package (£5K Car allowance, Travel expenses, 10% Annual bonus, Pension, Private Healthcare, Holiday etc)
