Electrical Assembler
Location: Southend-on-Sea

Key Responsibilities
*To read wiring diagrams, cut wires, solder, crimp and assemble accordingly.
*To test products to the customer and company requirements.
*To fault find and repair products to customer and company requirements.
*Assemble major riveted structures.
*Assemble major mechanical assemblies.
*Assemble minor mechanical assemblies.
*To carry out riveting of assemblies.
*To carry out electrical sub-assemblies.
*Strip sown and repair customer returned products.
*To read engineering drawings and assemble products to quality requirements.
*To carry out duties in a proper and efficient manner, act wholeheartedly in the interest of the company and comply with company rules and regulations.
*Responsible for ensuring a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.
*To support other team members with other tasks as and when necessary.
*To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published health and safety procedures.
*To carry out other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required.

Experience and Skills
*Assembly experience
*Ability to use hand tools, including rivet pliers/gun
*Experience in electrical assemblies
*Ability to read engineering and wiring diagrams
*Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
*Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Working Hours
Full-time hours: 39 Hours
Mon - Thurs: 8:00 - 17:00 (30 mins lunch)
Fri: 8:00 - 13:00 (no lunch)
