Description:
A leading manufacturing company in Pocklington are looking to recruit a mechanical and electrical assembler due to growth. This is a brilliant permanent opportunity, offering a salary of £23,000- 25,000 per annum DOE, with a great work-life balance (NO WEEKENDS!)
As an electrical and mechanical assembler, you will be required:
To assemble and produce steel cabinets with associated hand and power tools
To assemble electrical component parts fitted into finished cabinets
Read and understand technical drawings
Meet production output deadlinesTo be considered for the Mechanical Assembly Operative role you will
Have previous experience of working in a similar role building and assembling component parts
Be competent using hand and power tools
Be able to read and interpret drawings
Pay attention to detail and maintain accuracy when working at pace
Have a flexible approach to work, may be required to work outside core hours from time to time
Experience with LEAN manufacturing is desirable but not essential
Experience with PAT testing is desirable but not essentialThe role of mechanical and electrical assembler offers:
A competitive basic salary £25,000 pa plus overtime available
Great Monday – Friday 8 hour shifts, 8.30am – 5.00pm
Easily commutable from York, Malton, Selby, Beverley, Driffield and all surrounding areas.
