Full Time Contract (3 months )
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking an Electoral Service Assistant in Haringey. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
Responsibilities include:
Administrative duties in the compilation of the electoral register
To help organise and maintain such registration on the bespoke IT electoral software and through the annual canvass
To correspond with electors and applicants to advise them of the progress and status of their registration and rights to particular franchise products
Support the Electoral Registration Officer to determine applications to vote by post, by proxy and by Franchise status
The candidate:
Work experience in a similar capacity is essential
Understanding of the principles and methods underpinning electoral registration and election administration.
