Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire

£59,000 - £60,000 + Medical + 42days Holliday + 16% Pension

Looking to move into projects but struggling to get the opportunity?

If you come from an EC&I background within manufacturing, heavy engineering, chemicals, power generation or a similar industrial environment, this could be the career move you've been waiting for.

This is an opportunity to join a global industrial business that will invest heavily in your development, providing the training, mentoring and qualifications needed to become an EC&I Project Engineer. You'll even have the opportunity to complete recognised project management qualifications such as PRINCE2.

You don't need previous project management experience. What matters is your technical EC&I knowledge, a proactive attitude and the desire to develop.

The Role

Working alongside an experienced project team, you'll provide technical EC&I expertise across a wide range of plant improvement and capital projects. As your experience grows, you'll take increasing ownership of projects from concept through to commissioning before progressing into a fully-fledged Project Engineer.

This is a genuine development role with a clear career pathway.

We're looking for people from backgrounds such as:

* EC&I Technician

* Instrument Technician

* Electrical Engineer

* Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

* Controls Engineer

* Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/EC&I)

Experience within manufacturing, chemicals, heavy engineering, power generation, food, pharmaceuticals or similar industrial environments will all be considered.

What's on offer?

* £59,000 - £60,000 + Medical + 42days Holliday + 16% Pension

* Structured career progression into Project Engineering

* Full mentoring and technical support

* PRINCE2 and further professional qualifications

* Work on high-value capital improvement projects

* Long-term career with a global organisation
