Description:
Talentmark are recruiting for a EHS Support Specialist, to join a chemical manufacturing company, based in Derbyshire, on a 12-month fixed term contract.
The position is a full time site based role, working Monday to Friday.
The Company:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of advanced chemicals, supplying to many companies worldwide.
Your main duties will be:
Safely handle and manage hazardous chemicals, including COSHH coordination, chemical safety guidance and SDS reviews.
Assist with audit preparation including action tracking and gathering evidence.
Assist with permit variations, notifications and regulatory communications as required.
Update documentation including risk assessments training records and procedures.Your Background:
Degree or HNC in Chemistry or relevant degree.
Experience in a similar industrial EHS role.
Experience with incident investigation, risk assessment and contractor management.
Exposure to hazardous chemicals or chemical processes.
Understanding of UK EHS legislation and its practical application.Apply:
