Role Scope and Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for our of key clients they are looking for a full time EHS Co-ordinator to join our Quality department. You will be joining a growing business with vast heritage within the manufacturing industry and you will have the ability to influence and improve key operations across our whole business.
Duties include:
Working closely with the management teams and wider workforce to ensure legal compliance and efficient operations by implementing and monitoring our policies on Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety.
Maintaining compliance standards across all aspects of Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality for the business.
Utilising our Quality management system
Being proactive to identify risks and recommending actions to minimise risk to the business
Assisting in conducting internal audits to ensure compliance
Analyse results and highlight trends to identify problem areas to enable informed and effective decision making.
Develop and Maintain our Training Matrix for all employees.
Monitor refresher training needs.
Maintain our online training suite.
Accurate and efficient scanning and filing of all relevant training records.
Assisting in creating and communicating standardised documents.
Reviewing and improving process documents.
Working alongside managers to create and review Risk assessments and SOP’s.
Ensuring auditable information is accurate and up to date.
Support a leader led approach to improving Health and Safety and Quality Standards.
General EHS and Quality administration.
Any other reasonable duties to support business needs.
Skills and experience required:
IOSH Certificate (Preferred)
Experience in using I.Hasco training suite (Preferred)
Knowledge and understanding of (Preferred)
Experience working within a factory environment (Preferred)
Experience in working within a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritise operational demands
Understanding of the interpretation and application of safety legislation and policy, assessing risks and developing controls and action plans
Methodical and analytically focused.
Strong organisational skills.
Attention to detail is essential.
Use of initiative.
Ability to maintain records.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Experience of using Microsoft 365.
