Location: Castle Point, Essex
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: £19,000-£23,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive school in Castle Point is looking to appoint an Educational Support Practitioner to join their team from September. This permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with pupils and supporting them both inside and outside the classroom.

You'll work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to help create an engaging learning environment where every child is encouraged to succeed, whatever their starting point.

The Role

As an Educational Support Practitioner, you will:

Provide classroom support across a range of learning activities
* Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions where required
* Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and participation in lessons
* Support children with varying learning needs, including SEND where appropriate
* Help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support pupil progressThe Ideal Candidate

Has previous experience working with children in an educational or similar setting
* Is patient, reliable and approachable
* Communicates effectively and works well within a team
* Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
