Classroom Support are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a SEN school in Bromley that caters for SEN students with ASD, PMLD and other severe learning difficulties, from ages 4 to 19. The positions will start as temporary and have the option to move onto permanent contracts after 12 academic weeks.

They are looking for SEN experienced Teaching Assistants who have supported students with a variety of complex support needs, medical needs and associated learning difficulties or sensory impairments.

There is a highly competitive rate of pay which is £80 to £85 per day, depending on experience for working hours of 8.30am-3.45pm.

Working days are Monday-Friday term time only.

Requirements of the role are:

* Must have experience with pupils with PMLD.

* Advantageous to have experience with Moving and Handling.

* Supporting SEN students, sometimes working in a 1:1 setting, building a relationship of trust.

* Must have experience of supporting children or adults with challenging behaviour, ASD, ADHD and be of a calming but firm nature.

* Advantageous holding of a Teaching Assistant qualification.

* Must have or be willing to pay for a DBS on the update service.
