Nuneaton
Permanent | 36 Hours Per Week | 12‑Hour Continental Night Shifts
Salary:
* Salary between £18.59 - £21.24 per hour (shift allwoance included) additional allwoance for weekends
About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced EDM Machine Operator to join a well‑established precision engineering manufacturer in the Nuneaton area. This is a long‑term, stable position offering excellent shift premiums, modern facilities, and the chance to work on high‑integrity components for specialist industries.
You’ll be operating EDM machinery to tight tolerances, ensuring consistent quality and smooth production flow across a continental shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate EDM machinery safely and efficiently
* Work to engineering drawings and tight tolerances
* Carry out in‑process checks using standard measuring equipment
* Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and housekeeping
* Support continuous improvement and problem‑solving activities
* Work effectively as part of a small, skilled team
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience operating EDM machines (Wire or Sinker)
* Strong understanding of precision engineering and measurement
* Ability to follow technical drawings and job specifications
* Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working 12‑hour continental shifts
* A commitment to quality and safe working practices
