About the Role
Connex Education is working to recruit ECT's to work full time from September in primary schools based in Swadlincote.
This is a very exciting opportunity to work with a fantastic Trust and build your experience.
As an Early Career Teacher you will:
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students.
Plan and execute engaging lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.
Contribute to the broader life of the school community, including extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities
Lesson Planning and Delivery: Create and deliver effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Assessment: Regularly assess student work, track progress, and provide timely feedback.
Classroom Management: Establish a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and respect.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in education.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to share resources and strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background: A relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one.
Passion for Teaching: A genuine passion for education and a commitment to student success.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Classroom Management: Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
