Supply teaching is an excellent way to experience a variety of school settings, develop your classroom practice, and build relationships with local schools-many of which lead to long-term or permanent positions.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils
Manage behaviour in line with school policies
Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Mark and assess work where required
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to achieve QTS by September 2026
Passion for inspiring and supporting young learners
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A flexible, enthusiastic, and professional approach
Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Pay
£120 - £150 per day (dependent on experience, responsibilities, and assignment)
