Prospero Teaching are seeking a motivated ECT D&T Teacher to join a forward‑thinking secondary school in Braintree from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their career in a supportive environment with strong mentorship, a structured induction programme, and ongoing professional development. The school is looking for a passionate practitioner with creativity, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to inspire learners across KS3 and KS4.

Position - ECT D&T Secondary Teacher

Start date - September

Duration - Ongoing / Long‑term

Full time/part‑time - Full time

Pay - To be discussed further

Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

???? EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification in Design & Technology

Recent experience in a UK secondary school (placements accepted for ECTs)

Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

Provide two professional child‑related references
