The successful Assistant Ecologist will support a range of ecological surveys, assessments and reporting work, gaining exposure to protected species surveys, habitat assessments, biodiversity net gain projects and ecological mitigation strategies. Previous ecology experience through employment, placements or volunteering
Good understanding of UK habitats and protected species
Strong communication and report writing skills
Full UK driving licence
