Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading Energy company to recruit an EC&I Engineer / DCS Engineer for its site in North London.
The EC&I Engineer / DCS Engineer role comes with a starting salary of up to £60,000 + private medical + competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting directly to the EC&I Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
Being the site expert for electrical assets and C&I systems
Leading and supervising a team of EC&I Technicians responsible for pre-planned and reactive maintenance work
Managing and implementing SIL and Cybersecurity procedures.
The preparation of technical specifications and execution of site EC&I projects safely and within budget
Providing technical direction to operations and maintenance personnel and identifying areas of improvements
Managing high value maintenance contracts
Directing and supervising on site contractors
Ensuring HSE compliance at all times.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
A HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
At least 5 years' experience in a heavy process environment/sector (e.g. power station, chemical plant, paper mill, refinery, steel works etc).
Ideally an IOSH or NEBOSH or Health & Safety Qualification
Experience with ABB AC160, AC450 and 900xa systems would be hugely beneficial
Personal skills
The EC&I Engineer / DCS Engineer role would suit someone who is:
Highly motivated with strong analytical thinking
Able to work well alone or within a team
