EC&I Engineer - 12 Month Contract
Birmingham / Hybrid Working
Are you an EC&I Engineer who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle?
Do you have experience taking projects from front-end studies through to commissioning?
Are you comfortable working in highly regulated industrial environments where safety and compliance are critical?

What will you be doing?
• Supporting EC&I engineering activities across the full project lifecycle
• Delivering front-end engineering studies and concept designs
• Producing detailed EC&I design documentation
• Supporting HAZOPs and other safety reviews
• Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Supporting commissioning and on-site activities when required
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
Where will you be doing it?
You'll be joining a well-established engineering business delivering complex projects within highly regulated industrial environments. Their teams work on technically demanding projects covering everything from early-stage studies through to full delivery and commissioning.
What you'll need
• Experience working as an EC&I Engineer within industrial or process environments
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from FEED/concept through to commissioning
• Experience supporting or participating in HAZOP studies
• Experience producing EC&I design documentation
• Knowledge of control systems, instrumentation and electrical systems
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
