EC&I Completions Engineer

Description:

Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting a EC&I Completions Engineer to join the EPC Contractors commissioning team for their Waste to Energy facility based in Scotland on an initial 9 months contract basis.

The EC&I Completions Engineer position comes with a competitive rate per day outside of IR35.

Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

Manage EC&I completions and handover, reviewing construction completion packs, system boundaries and turnover packages to ensure systems are ready for commissioning.
Review technical documentation, including electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop folders, test certificates, ITPs, calibration records and red-lined drawings.
Lead site walkdowns and punch-list management, identifying outstanding works and driving actions through to close-out.
Maintain completion records and systems, updating CMS/CMMS, completion registers, turnover dossiers and tracking commissioning readiness.
Manage Technical Queries (TQs), coordinating responses between Construction, Engineering, Commissioning and vendors and ensuring timely close-out.
Monitor and report progress, providing EC&I completion updates, identifying risks/delays and acting as the interface between Construction, Engineering, Commissioning and the Client.Location, day rate and timeframe of the EC&I Completions Engineer positions:
