Early Years Teaching Assistant – Nursery
Location: North Birmingham

Salary: £14.25–£15.50 per hour
Hours: School Hours – Term Time Only
Contract: Full-time / Long-term
Are you passionate about supporting young children during the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)?
Do you have experience working with 2–3-year-olds within a nursery or Early Years setting?
Are you comfortable providing personal care and supporting children's individual care and developmental needs?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming nursery in North Birmingham looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will primarily support children aged 2–3, helping with their learning, development and daily routines in a safe and nurturing environment.
The successful Early Years Teaching Assistant will:
Have experience working with 2–3-year-olds
Be comfortable providing personal care, including toileting, nappy changing and supporting hygiene routines
Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework
Support learning and development through play-based activities
Encourage children's communication, social and emotional development
Support children during mealtimes, play and daily nursery routines
Be caring, patient and attentive to individual needs
Follow all safeguarding, health and safety procedures
