Location: Slough, Berkshire
Position: Early Years Practitioner
Contract: Full-time / Part-time available
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team in Slough.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can develop their confidence, independence and love of learning.

The Role

You will work as part of our early years team to:

Provide high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for children aged 0–5.

Support children through engaging, age-appropriate activities and experiences.

Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

Observe, assess and record children's development and progress.

Support children's personal, social and emotional development.

Promote positive behaviour and encourage children's independence.

Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.

Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures.

Work effectively as part of a supportive and professional team.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about working with young children.

Warm, caring, patient and approachable.

Enthusiastic and creative in their approach to learning.

A good communicator who can build positive relationships with children and families.

Reliable, organised and able to work well within a team.

Committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Able to demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.

An Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 is desirable, although applications from candidates with relevant experience and a genuine passion for early years education are also welcome.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
