TeacherActive are thrilled to be working with an outstanding private day nursery situated not too far from Leeds LS15. The nursery care for over 100 children throughout the week, with a dedicated staff team on hand to support the children throughout their time at the nursery. The nursery boasts large rooms set up to cater for each of the different ages, as well as an outdoor area set up to stimulate the children’s interests and provide a safe space for the children to play and learn new skills.

The nursery are currently searching for an Early Years Practitioner to join their growing team. The ideal applicant will hold a minimum Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent, and will have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage. The position is long-term, with the potential to become permanent for the right applicant.

The successful Early Years Practitioner will:

Have a good knowledge and understanding of current Safeguarding & Child Protection policies & procedures
Be passionate about working with young children & helping them learn and develop new skills
Be able to provide a minimum of 2 professional references.
