Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding care and education to children aged between 0-5 years. You will work in a collaborative and supportive environment that values the unique contributions of each team member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early experiences of children, providing a nurturing and enriching environment for their development. You will be responsible for creating engaging learning opportunities, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the well-being of the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
Build positive and respectful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform individualized learning plans.
Potentially support children with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt activities to meet their unique requirements, SEN is a growing need within nursery settings now.
Ensure that health and safety standards are always upheld, identifying and addressing any potential hazards promptly.
Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of our early years provision.
Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in early childhood education.Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and its application in early years settings.
Previous experience working with young children in an early years education setting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge of child safeguarding procedures and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in our care.
