About AK Teaching: AK Teaching is dedicated to providing high-quality educational support to private and school nurseries across Wakefield. We are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Early Years Assistant with knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to join our team. If you are passionate about working in early years education and supporting young children’s learning and development, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist key workers in delivering high-quality activities that support children’s learning and development in alignment with the EYFS framework.
* Be included within staffing ratios to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
* Ensure policies and procedures are followed consistently.
* Maintain open communication with key workers and parents to support each child’s development.
* Provide one-to-one support for children who require additional assistance.
* Ensure a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment for all children.
Requirements:
* Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
* Knowledge of the EYFS framework and its application in early years settings.
* Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrate a passion for working in early years education and supporting young learners.
