Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Lead to join our team at a mainstream school in Northfield.
This position is available as either a temporary or permanent role, depending on the candidate's preference.

Responsibilities:

Leadership: Take a lead role in the Early Years department, providing guidance and support to the team of educators.
Curriculum Development: Design and implement a stimulating and age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and guidelines.
Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess students' progress and implement strategies to support their individual needs.
Parental Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's development and encouraging their involvement in the learning process.
Staff Development: Provide ongoing professional development opportunities for Early Years staff, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other school staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience in a leadership role within an Early Years setting.
Strong knowledge of early childhood development and educational practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
