Job Title: Early Years Educator
Location: Hammersmith & Fulham

Job Purpose
To provide high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for young children in a safe, caring and stimulating environment. To support children's physical, emotional, social and intellectual development through play-based learning and positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities

Provide a safe, secure, welcoming and stimulating environment for all children.
Plan and deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development.
Support children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Observe, assess and record children's progress and development.
Encourage children's independence, confidence and self-esteem.
Support children's communication, language, physical, personal, social and emotional development.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
Ensure children's health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all times.
Follow safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
Promote equality, diversity and inclusion, ensuring every child is valued and respected.
Support children's personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, nappy changing and hygiene.
Maintain accurate records, including observations, accident forms and daily reports.
Work effectively as part of a team and participate in staff meetings and training.
Follow nursery policies, procedures and relevant legislation.Essential Skills and Qualities

Relevant Early Years qualification, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, or equivalent.
Experience working with children aged 0-5 years is desirable.
Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
Paediatric First Aid training is desirable or required where applicable.
Appropriate enhanced DBS clearance.Professional Expectations
